Dark Angels is a murder mystery in comedy format. It is set in a Strip Come Fetish Club, where Mame (Katie Underwood), billed the Queen of Sin, heads a troupe of sexy showgirls.

One day, Mame receives a letter addressed to her containing a death threat. It is sent by the notorious Burlesque Butcher, a serial killer, who has been murdering stripper come showgirls around Melbourne.

Detective Brown and his female partner begin work in the club incognito and in this time, the killer closes in, taking the life of Mame's young lover.

The Detectives interview the suspects: the Senator, whose plans to close down this 'Temple of Evil' and rid the city of its homosexuals implicate him, and Astrid, the club's artistic director who is jealous of Mame's success.

Even Detective Brown himself comes under suspicion, as his ex-girlfriends have all been victims.
